PSAT - Great news!
As part of MNPS’ participation with First Lady Obama’s Reach Higher initiative and partnership with the College Board’s College and Career Readiness advisory council, MNPS is being offered the opportunity to administer the PSAT to all 10th graders free of charge. The district will also be given the advanced academic predictor report for free to use to identify and advise students who are predicted to do well in dual enrollment, IB, AICE and AP. In addition, this opportunity would allow more MNPS’ students to qualify to be National Merit Scholars.
All other students in 9th, 11th, or 12th grades who wish to take the PSAT on October 15, 2014, need to come register with Mrs. Sheehan no later than Friday, September 26, 2014 and bring $15 (cash, check, or money order) for the test fee. Please help get the word out so that we can have as many students as possible participate in this program!
