Resources That Can Help
- Contact your child's school. Ask about any tutoring programs that are offered. Some are offered directly through the school. Others may be set up by outside groups such as the Boys & Girls Club or the YMCA. Click here for a complete list of schools and contact information.
- Read the academic standards. They are available online by clicking here.
- Parent University - Learn how to be more involved in your child’s education. The next session is October 30, 2010. More information and registration are available by clicking here.
- Homework Hotline – Open Monday through Thursday, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. throughout the school year. Help for students and parents is available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Kurdish, Turkmani, Creole and Swahili. Click here to learn more.
