In the fall of 2011, Antioch High School teacher Caroll Trusty led her Imaginative Writing class through a unit on songwriting. The class was taught in partnership with the Country Music Hall of Fame, particularly Mr. Haines. As a result of the class, Shaymus A.'s original song, "You Are My Light," has been selected for inclusion in the Hall of Fame's Words & Music Night which will be held April 26! Congratulations!
