 ABOUT DESIGN CENTER SCHOOLS
Design center schools offer specialized (thematic) programs. The curriculum for Design Center Schools is patterned after one of the following themes: Spanish Immersion, Advanced Academics, Language/Literature, Montessori, Paideia, Global Environmental Awarness, and Health and Medical Sciences.
Students living within the school zone have the first choice at enrolling in these schools. Students living in the high school cluster have the second priority and must apply through the Optional School Application period. Students living outside the cluster must apply through the Optional Application period. Design center schools range from grades PreSchool (age 3) - 8.
