Juniors and seniors who wish to earn college credits while still in high school may participate in the Dual Enrollment Program. Classes will meet at the Southeast Center Campus of Nashville State Community College (NSCC). Participants will receive both high school and college credit for all dual enrollment courses. The credits may fulfill core requirements at many colleges and universities. To qualify, students must have a 3.0 GPA, and score 19 or above on the ACT. Above all, students must be willing to take a challenging course in a college environment. Each class at Nashville State will cost approximately $325 per semester, plus the cost of books, however, the Dual Enrollment Grant will cover $300 of tuition per semester (maximum $600 in one year).
