A Message from the Principal
Dear Friends,
Nashville School of the Arts is a school like no other. Within its walls is a community of dedicated artists, both student and teacher. There is a heart and soul that is immediately detectable by visitors to our building.
Students at NSA have a rigorous schedule that requires more than just a commitment to their discipline within the Arts. Our students must also meet the regular curriculum requirements that traditional high schools have. When NSA students graduate they have several more credits than regular high school students.
Our faculty is a blend of young recent college graduates and veteran instructors. All have the same dedication that we observe in our students. The Arts teachers and the Core teachers work well together to allow students time to be a part of their artistic area and still work within the traditional subject areas. Besides drama, music, dance, visual arts, and mass media, NSA offers the Core classes necessary for college entrance. These teachers work diligently to create a relevant environment for the students of the Arts.
Our Friends of NSA organization works tirelessly.
I would encourage all to come and visit our "community" and witness the amazing things going on at NSA. You will find a unique learning experience within a lot of very happy students and teachers.
Artfully Yours,
boB Wilson
Executive Principal
